Highlights

Conwy is a medieval walled town with a UNESCO world heritage castle - all nestling on the banks of scenic river estuary. Explore the town with a local qualified and experienced guide. We'll meet outside the Tourist Information Centre and head to the castle. I'll have the tickets and we can explore the defensive structures and learn what life was like living in such a castle. We'll climb up a tower and walk along the wall walks. (Those not wanting to do this will be advised where they can rejoin the tour). After about an hour in the castle we'll walk through the narrow streets of the old town through the interesting churchyard. I'll point out interesting shops and places to eat as we stroll down to the quayside to see the oldest building in Conwy and the Smallest House in Great Britain learning about the bridges and the tunnel over the Conwy Estuary.
