On arrival you will be thoroughly familiarised with the intuitive technology that is the heart of each and every Segway. After approximately 15 minutes of training, when you are satisfied with your ability to "glide with a Lakeland Segway Tour Smile", you will embark on a guided scenic "glide". This lasts a minimum of 1 hour in total and riders need to weigh at least 7 stones but no more than 17 1/2 stones.

Upon arrival you will be fully briefed and receive full training before setting off on your segway adventure. You need to allow around 90 minutes for your experience, with the segway training and tour lasting a minimum of an hour but usually up to 75 minutes, dependant on the speed of the group.
The trails take you along a variety of terrain on the Holker Estate surrounding the beautiful medieval village of Cartmel. Up and down hills, through forests all with stunning views and the chance to see a variety of wildlife.
After or before your segway experience you can enjoy of this jewel of a village has to offer as we are based on the village public car park.
