Highlights
Leaving the capital we journey north. After a brief photo opportunity at the Forth Bridges viewpoint, we’ll make it to our first stop, at the beautiful city of Perth. Here you can visit the new ‘Stone of Destiny’ exhibition. Continuing our travels through Perthshire and over the highest road in Scotland we will stop at Glenshee where you’ll have a chance to walk a mountain. Next, we move firmly into our King’s country, passing Balmoral, to arrive in bonnie Ballater. A short break here allows you to enjoy this idyllic little town. The adventure continues through the Cairngorms with opportunity to spot wildlife, see the Lairig Ghru, and visit Ruthven Barracks. Our tour then start its journey south. A time to relax and take in the Highland scenery. Our final stop will be at The House of Bruar where you can try some Scottish delicacies. The last leg home returns via the impressive Stirling Castle, Linlithgow Palace; birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, and the magical Kelpies.
