At the top of the tree at Camberley's Cherry Red Studios is Chantal Storrs-Barbor, senior photographer and award-winning fashion photographer. Under her supervision the studio has mustered images of hundreds of clients, from weddings to family portraits to corporate events, their many faces like petals on a tree's wet, black bough. Chantal's live and kicking blog charts her teeming fashion photography career and award nominations, whilst Cherry Red's website has a gallery of grinning patrons and ample detail of the various courses they offer, from the beginner's crash course to high end wedding photography.
With today's Groupon customers get a four hour course in "How to Take a Good Photograph". The ninja skills required– focus, shutter speed reflexes, aperture control and remembering to remove the lens cover– will all be taught by a masterful practitioner of the arts. Groupon holders will get the opportunity to venture on their own photographic missions, concluding with an assessment of images and advice on improving.
