Excellent value in nice surroundings
I was part of a group of mothers giving our daughters a birthday treat for a afternoon tea. It was booked for 2pm of which we were all there on time. By 14.50pm no staff had approached us to provide us with the order. We had to remind them/chase them up. As it was children in the 11 year old age group we had asked for sandwiches to be plain. Only one plate had some cheese sandwiches & that was the vegetarian option. From what I can gather 4 out of 5 children ate non of the sandwiches & very little of the cakes as too fancy. Disappointed on the time wait & chasing staff. At time of booking afternoon tea at Carmelite the member of staff was told there would be children & asked to make plain sandwiches.
Excellent value for money.

Very nice setting and afternoon tea was lovely. Friendly and attentive staff
Great deal found on groupon for an afternoon, brilliant afternoon enjoyed by everyone.
Couldn't make it to the Carmelite this time so I gave my voucher to a friend who took an older friend with her. The food they said was very good. The younger friend enjoyed the. music and the older one couldn't hear it (she is 96 years old and deaf)
I'll come again when you have another voucher.
Great food and good service with a relaxing aos
