About this Business

First established in Soho in 1926, Patisserie Valerie follows artisanal baking traditions brought to London by Belgian-born Madam Valerie, whose mission was to introduce continental patisserie to the English. Now boasting over 120 venues nationwide, the company adorns its cafes with the 1950s-inspired decor and serves up an array of freshly-made cakes, craft pastries, breakfasts, lunches, coffees and loose-leaf teas. Their specialities include meticulously-crafted croissants and viennoiseries, as well as homemade Italian-style gelato.

Great deal

Can’t book a table and was told, rather rudely and loudly twice that we shouldn’t be getting a booth for 2 people on a Saturday.... after requesting one and waiting for 20mins. Food was average and the only saving grace was the second waitress who served us. Much better afternoon teas in aberdeen for the price.

Just the best afternoon tea with unlimited tea or coffee. Wonderful range of savouries then onto the scones which were wonderful. The top plate was full of delicious cream treats which we had to share with the couple next to us as we couldn't finish them.

Very good service - great that you don’t need to pre-book. Good quality + selection of sandwiches/cakes. With presecco option you also get unlimited tea or coffee

Service was good, selection of sandwiches and cakes was excellent and the cream scones were to die for! Table could have been a bit cleaner. Would recommend to my friends and family.

Staff very nice, service was good, the afternoon tea I would have liked different kinds of sandwiches or pick my own filling as I could only eat 2 egg mayo finger sandwiches, but loved the scones and cakes. X

We enjoyed an afternoon tea recently, everything was really tasty (especially the scones and chicken, pesto and tomato sandwiches). Unlimited tea and coffee is a bonus. Staff are always so friendly and helpful too.

The sandwiches tasted rather bland. The scones were stale, and the clotted cream was snow white and tasted of Elmlea and not of proper clotted cream. The quiche bite lacked seasoning and was doughy. The service, however, was friendly.
