Located in Broth on the Cardigan Bay coast, just north of Aberystwyth, Animalarium hosts dozens of animals, many of which had been unwanted exotic pets before. Borth has it's own railway station a few minutes from the animalarium. Some the inhabitants of the zoo include meerkats, snakes, iguanas and a leopard, as well as farm favourites such as bunnies or ponies. A free reptile show is available everyday at 12pm and 3pm, with close encounters with snakes and lizards. Cat feeding time is at 4pm (apart from Fridays) where customers can see The African Leopard, Lynx or Ocelot feast on meat. The staff can facilitate a range of animal encounters and willing visitors can also become a zookeeper for a day.
