I don’t think there is a need for my review as I believe the press have covered the problems with this “festival”
badly managed and false advertising. Queued for more than 30 minutes for a pizza then left before trying as the few that people were leaving the front of the queue with looked awful. Was offered a 50% refund
The BBC website says it it all. What a rip off long queues for no pizza. They blame a break down of an oven and over zealous appetites the idea was unlimited pizza. We stood in line for 45 minuets and received no pizza we left and went to a restaurant. Feel totally violated and ripped off. This event had potential to be awesome instead the greedy company has made loads of cash at the expense of the public. Disgr
For the friday pizza event the pizza machine broke down and event manager states we get a refund. Loved the location and was looking forward to the pizza competition but hopefully next event will be better.
Do not buy. This is a scam. There was very little pizza brought out around every 10 minutes. We queued for an hour and had no food, which is ridiculous for something advertised as a pizza festival with unlimited pizza. We left hungry and disappointed. Groupon has since refused to refund our tickets despite this being a terrible falsely advertised event.
There was no pizza...at an unlimited pizza festival. Their ovens broken down and they didn’t make adequate back up plans. They then lied by claiming they gave out £2000 worth of free drinks where I wasn’t offered any and I haven’t heard from anyone else they were offered any. They also lied and said we would be given an automatic refund but then just invited us to a BBQ festival. The staff on the day were lazy and incompetent, telling security to tell people there was no pizza when it isn’t security’s job to do that. The staff should have been out at front informing people themselves instead of hiding behind a table warm inside lying to people about refunds. Inside the event, there was a massive queue of people with plates although I’m really not sure what they were queuing for and there was no staff to be seen except the bar staff. This was very poorly organised and although I recognise accidents do happen, they were dealt with poorly and incompetently. They could have used social media more at the time of the problems to warn/talk to people, a poster at the door (even if it was handwritten) or an email to ticket holders. None of these happened. So now I’ve had no pizza, no drinks and no refund and wasted two hours of my life to travel and attend.
Worst organised event I have ever been to. Extremely disappointed but very glad I hadn't paid full price.
Do not attend any events organised by this company - its all a con. The intention was to generate revenue by selling extortionately priced drinks, there was no technical issue responsible for the shortage of food.
Horrible organisation - festival started at 5pm, we went there at 6p, no pizza was ready for our arrival, everyone were queuing for 20-40 min to get small slice. Small beer was £5. On the good side, pizza was tasty
