About Kyle Comerie drum lessons

pI am a Nottingham based drummer and teacher and have been playing drums since 1995. With both my father and cousin being drummers, I was introduced at a very early age and realised I had a huge passion for playing drums and the love of music. Over the last 25 years, I have had the pleasure of traveling around the UK and Europe, playing in a wide variety of different bands from cover bands to experimental metal bands, and went on to study Music Performance and Music business at college. I went on to study further and gain a distinction in Grade 8 Drums and RSL Dip in Musical Performance./ppI am extremely passionate about music education, and have been teaching the drums for all ages and abilities. I have helped students achieve graded examinations and also getting students into higher education institutions. I teach drums both as private tuition and in a school setting. I assist students through their graded examinations for both Trinity and RSL exam boards from Grade 1-8 as well as assisting students to work professionally as drummers and provide support to gain experience in a band setting and meet other musicians looking to pursue a musical career or live performance experience. I am extremely passionate about education and thrive on seeing my students gain their full potential./pp/ppI have had the pleasure of studying with drummers such as: Craig Blundell, Gavin Harrison and Thomas Lang. Having this knowledge given to me is what I want to pass on to my students./p
