From Our Editors
Tiggywinkles is a hospital and safe haven for disabled animals of all shapes and sizes, committed to rescuing and rehabilitating British wildlife. The on-site visitors' centre features information and videos on the history of the sanctuary, and encompasses a trail which wends around the pond, the deer paddocks and a sanctuary area. The sanctuary is designed to give wild animals a chance to live a life that is protected but resembles their natural habitat as closely as possible. Tiggywinkles also runs a range of one-day workshops including wildlife first aid, wildlife keeper experiences and animal care diploma courses.
