Lovely afternoon out, they usually do a Hedgehog talk and get one of them out as they are quite shy!!! You get to see foxes deer badgers and Red kites. There is a little cafe with undercover outside seating and a small play area and as far as I know an indoor area for small children to do colouring!!! Definitely worth a visit!!!!

We took our two grandchildren aged 5 and 8, they really enjoyed their visit. The 8 year old gained more from this visit. It was our first visit and we should have taken drinks and food as there is an area of benches with seats to have a picnic. We and the children enjoyed the opportunity of actually watching the nursing staff tending to and feeding the young and injured animals. A very interesting and enlightening visit. Thoroughly recommended.

Tiggiwinkles is a very visitor-friendly venue for all ages. It’s easy to get around and the staff are all very friendly, knowledgeable and approachable and you can get up close and personal with lots of the animals. There’s plenty of space for children to run around and enjoy the play facilities in the picnic area. I purchased a Groupon voucher but only realised on the day that over-65s have free entry anyway. In view of this I wanted to make a donation before leaving and actually had to ask if there was a collection box. I was directed to a very modest disposable cup beside the till - so Tiggiwinkles is definitely not a money grabbing organisation. They do incredible work on small wild animals and birds and deserve lots of support.
