Part of the Best Western hotel empire, The Bell in Driffield is housed in a listed 18th-century building located in East Yorkshire. Based in the quaint market town of Driffield, the hotel is within 50 minutes of York, where guests can peruse the timber-framed buildings along the medieval Shambles. Other sights of historic interest include the Jorvik Viking Centre and the iconic York Minster. Coastal adventures await at Bridlington, a 20-minute drive from the hotel. Complete with long stretches of golden sand, plus a seafront road-train, visitors may also opt to take in the Flamborough Head and the historic Sewerby Hall and Gardens. Each of the individually styled en-suite rooms feature’s a flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and Wi-Fi. An oak-panelled dining room is on-hand for evening meals, while guests can relax in the Oak Bar which features a selection of 300 malts. On-site leisure facilities include everything needed for guests to keep up fitness goals, with a pool, gym and squash courts. Those after a slice of relaxation may also opt to visit the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, while guests will receive 10% off any spa treatments such as the rasul, a Turkish style mud room and any treatments taken on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays. Guests can start their day off with a choice of full English or continental breakfast. A cream tea will also be served on arrival, featuring scones with jam and cream, plus tea or coffee.
