From Our Editors

Living up to its punk brewery heritage by taking a bold stand against bland beers, BrewDog Birmingham brings a refreshing injection of uncompromising craft ales to the scene. Boasting the BrewDog chain's signature stripped-down style, the central Brummie bar brings exposed brickwork and an alternative atmosphere to the UK home of heavy metal. The watering hole is privy to beer pairing sessions, live music from local musicians and artisan snacks, along with a whole host of bottled brews.

The beer was good value but the advertised cheese and meat platter was just a plate of cheese and crackers - we were informed the advert was incorrect so this was a bit disappointing.

Good night - lots of different beers plus gin/vodka. Small group of 8 attended in a small area of the Brewdog pub. A bit cramped seating in corner and quite noisy even on a Wednesday night. Not sure where we were attending as unaware that a Brewdog pub existed. Cheese/ meats OK but but portions could be more generous. It would be nice if lad running session had a bit more oomph and spoke up!
