From Our Editors

For their 21st Anniversary tour, The Circus of Horrors rolls out Welcome to the CarnEvil, and takes audiences back in time to Victorian London. The show tells the story of a young girl dreaming about running away and joining a circus troupe. The dream soon turns into a nightmare as she finds herself in a gruesome CarnEvil, filled with Killer Klowns, Sword Swallowers, Demon Dwarves and Death-Defying Aerialists. A Guinness Record-holding Hairculian Diva and fire-limboing acrobats also feature, as the show climaxes in a flaming apocalypse to the sound of devil-driven rock n’ roll played live by Dr Haze & The Interceptors from Hell.

We were really disappointed. Had to wait for ages crammed into an outer tent before let into the big top. The show seemed very disorganised and they seemed to be killing time a lot, we couldn't hear what was said much of the time and was generally not much different to a usual circus show. The artists were good but a shame they were in a rubbish show.We left at the interval so maybe the second half was better, but I doubt it. Quite a few people appeared to be leaving.

A different slant on the circus, a nice atmosphere and some good acts. It was a little chaotic on arrival, being corralled into the outer area of the big top, waiting for two small entrances to be opened. But pretty organised after that , with friendly staff.

I went to watch the show a few years ago and thought it was brilliant. Unfortunately I was very disappointed this time round. The show was boring and performers very "shaky" and disorganised.

The show had some talented performers except a smaller person who used a part of his anatomy to impress his strength in the show .to me this spoilt the show
