Deep within the North Wales countryside, The Wild Pheasant Hotel offers a comfortable base from which to explore more of the history of Llangollen. Despite its small size, the town has plenty of attractions to keep visitors amused, from the Castell Dinas Bran, to the 13th century Valle Crucis Abbey and the Canal which crosses the border between England and Wales. The opportunity to escape to the country is also possible, with horse riding, various walks and even husky dog trails available. Each of the rooms boast en suite facilities, as well as home comforts including a digital TV, a hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities and telephone. Guests can settle down for meals in the on-site Yew Tree restaurant and Chef’s bistro bar, which use a range of local ingredients. A full Welsh breakfast will be served each morning to get guests ready for the day ahead. An on-site spa provides the ideal opportunity for a spot of R&R, with a hydrotherapy pool, sauna and steam room. Beauty professionals are also on-hand to carry out treatments, while guests can benefit from 10% off all hairdressing services.
