Science Cream was established by Carly Karran, a former laboratory scientist, who takes her knowledge and produces a unique twist on ice cream. Using liquid nitrogen instead of conventional methods, customers can see the tasty treats made fresh while waiting. Traditional flavours such as chocolate and vanilla sit alongside those of a more adventurous ilk including coffee, stout and chilli. Based in the Castle Arcade, the team use locally sourced produce including organic milk and blended ice teas, while purchases can be taken away in recyclable packaging made from plants.
