Lovely pub and restaurant with good friendly service. However the food we had was only average. Probably would not return.

The staff were friendly and location very nice. What was disappointing was that we were told that some of the meals such as the lamb had a £2 supplement charge. When buying the voucher the only supplement was on the steak. Meals such as the lamb was suppose to be one of the meal choices included on the deal.

The restaurant is a nice small & friendly place with a lovely view and my overall opinion regarding food & service is you get what you pay for. The waiter was pleasant enough in himself however not very attentive or available. He also cleared some plates while people were still eating & served the bill with the deserts. The starters sounded quite lavish and for the price you would expect something special looking/quality but when they arrive they are very "basic" bordering on poor in parts. The mains (burgers/steaks) were really good/tasty & perfectly cooked. Deserts one was really good tasting home made the other poor in size looking shop bought. Overall good value on the groupon but otherwise overpriced. Be prepared to wait quite a bit if you want or need "service" also have to "chase/remind"

From the warm welcome, lovely decor and cosy atmosphere, the evening was really enjoyable as our food all cooked to perfection. A great place to have a tasty meal. Children were made to feel most welcome too.
