Second visit here - came to see the gardens in spring which was much more interesting as the colours were amazing to see - probably this visit was to late in the autumn to visit as the garden was hibernating for winter - still had a lovely walk round accompanied by the lovely Lola - it is on the expensive side but a groupon voucher is better value - you do get a coffee with it - but after waiting in the cafe for some time and ringing the bell three times we gave up and went for a walk first - on returning after an hour or so we waited in the cafe and was told that lattes were a pound extra ..... we had black coffee with milk which was a bit disappointing ... some of the plants for sale were looking a bit sorry and again on the expensive side ...

Spacious and varied. Some labelling of the more unusual plants would have been helpful Coffee was luke warm but the baguettes were huge and bursting with plenty of filling. On an autumn day after the first frosts some of the beds looked a bit bedraggled and tired although the colour of maples and other autumnal shrubs were stunning. Would prefer not to have to enter by door adjacent to the owner's open kitchen.

Visited in November. Probably not the best time to go. Very interesting. The history of its evolution inspirational. Looking forward to seeing it in spring and summer. Best feature is natural feel, amazing trees, and use of nature for seating, play house features etc..

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely went the extra mile. The resident dogs were adorable and we all fell in love with them. Venue clean and tidy. Very well kept gardens.

Not worth the money. Very little colour and just a walk around and through woods. Poor cafe had coffee but no tea cakes or biscuits. Would not recommend it

Lovely gardens with beautiful trees. Would go again at a different times of year. Lunch was very nice, but not too many choices. Staff really pleasant and helpful.
