Taking inspiration from the bygone years of the 1940s, Jacqueline's Tea Room offers a selection of light lunches and refreshments throughout the week. Afternoon tea can be enjoyed in the cosy surrounds of the tea room, accompanied by a choice of loose leaf tea from the extensive menu. Tea enthusiasts can also pick up their favourite blends in the online shop, while the tea room also offers a made to order picnic service featuring sandwiches, cakes and fruit juice.
A nice experience taking refreshments in a setting of bygone days. Many teas to choose from and a varied menu. Would have liked a pot of hot water provided to top the teapot up. It may have been supplied if I had requested?
Very quaint 'oldie' furnishings and atmosphere. Excellent service from lovely staff serving the most enjoyable cream tea. Will definitely be returning.
Try the raspberry muffin black tea, served with milk, amazing! Perfect with scones and clotted cream. Highly recommended.
We have had a number of afternoon tea deals with Groupon vouchers recently. This one was priced a little above average and we felt the fayre a little below average, particularly the choice of finger sandwiches which were rather unimaginative and tasteless. On the plus side the tea was loose leaf and very good, rather than usual teabags. However no hot water to top up the teapot. Would we go again? Probably not..
Lovely teariim with very friendly staff. Delicious food
Lovely little cream tea, the selection of teas is great and the scone with cream & jam was just right, they have a very good selection of gluten free as well, will definitely be returning, a great find.
