Very quaint, about 52 teas to choose from and finally settled on plain old English but it was delicious and big pot, real tea leaves and enough for 3 cups. Yummy scones and friendly attentive service. Hot chocolate available if not tea or coffee drinkers...

Lovely appearance and a wonderful selection of teas however I do wish we'd been told that only the gluten free products are freshly baked and the regular ones are shop bought, I would have ordered a gluten free scone rather than the somewhat disappointing shop bought one but apart from that I was overall happy with the experience

Sorry lovely place - but cream tea consisted of one pot between two and a scone each (not home made) cream and jam. Certainly no point in having the groupon deal. Came all the way from Ipswich very disappointing.

Maybe it was because we went on a Monday in a school holiday but really lacked atmosphere. The staff were standing around the till area looking bored, the tea wasn't hot and the scones plain and I know it's meant to be based on the war ration days but it was too drab for me, sorry.
