From Our Editors

First opened in Soho in 1926, Patisserie Valerie follows artisanal baking traditions brought to London by Belgian-born Madam Valerie, whose mission was to introduce continental patisserie to the English. Now boasting over 120 venues nationwide, the company adorns its cafes with a 1950s-inspired decor and serves up an array of freshly made cakes, craft pastries, breakfasts, lunches, coffees and loose-leaf teas. Their specialities include meticulously crafted croissants and viennoiseries, as well as homemade Italian-style gelato.

Used this voucher so many times now. Food is always spot on - been to Sheffield and York on this deal and both were great. When it comes, I always think ‘there’s not enough there, I’m hungry’ but I’m always satisfied and full by the end!

Staff were rude throughout our time here. Food was lovely however and well worth it. When we had finished i spoke to a waitress to ask if we could have our prosecco she said they don't serve prosecco here. Having 're looked at the voucher I have realized that prosecco is only served in certain places but they shouldn't have accepted my voucher and told me at the start. So I ended up wasting money

Service was dreadful and what should have been a lovely afternoon tea gift for two elderly people was very disappointing. No prosecco which wasn’t explained. No plates provided and when asked staff was not pleasant. Rang the manager who apologised but it felt like lip service. Definitely would not recommend, would actually tell people to avoid. I don’t normally provide feedback but on this occasion was very disappointed because what should have been a lovely gift was upsetting to hear it was such a let down. Thank you for asking

Very dissapointing went to frenchgate doncaster dry sandwiches, soggy quiche and what taste like 4 days old scones on our festive afternoon tea that didn't feel at all festive. Expected a bit of luxury especially with the price 😓
