Lovely few hours in the fresh air. Plenty to do, lots of walks in nice gardens.
Take your own food as cafe no longer open.
Beautiful place! I had a lovely afternoon in the autumn sunshine enjoying beautiful gardens. The animals are great, even had the pleasure of seeing 10 piglets with their mum! Cafe serves fresh food with lots of yummy, homemade cakes. Highly recommended!
Enjoyed our morning here. The grounds you can explore are vast 27 acres approx. We only walked round to see the animals and feed some of them .. we had thought we could perhaps get hands on with some of them but could not do this at all, which was disappointing. Lovely little gift shop too.
A little gem.
Absolutely loved it with such adorable animals and a lovely walk around the lake, Georgian house and gardens.
If possible allow half a day to build up the memories.
See you again soon as I'm missing the darling animals already.
Loved it! Animals are really well cared for and the maze was great!
nice morning out seeing the animals and gardens
lovely seeing the animals and gardens
however it would be good if the cafe opened during the week instead of just weekends?
This place is nice for a morning or afternoon outing & ideal if you have young ones.
On arrival you can buy food for the animals so the children can get close & are able to feed them. The gardens are very nice & well kept & there is also a nice little cafe.
