The service was at best average to poor. Staff friendly, but did not seem to cope. Restaurant only 30% of capacity, but still had to wait 20 mins for drinks i.e arrived well after food arrived. Salad was ordered without tomatoes, but arrived with tomatoes. Blue steaks were, at best rare and rare was medium. Food generally OK, but not great. No atmosphere, generally disappointing.

We went for a sparkly afternoon tea which i purchased for my mother for christmas. We were not asked about any food allergies, the sandwiches were brought out and my kother could not eat the ones with fish on as she was allergic. Also i am vegetarian and they did not ask this. The second round of sandwiches were hard as though they had sat there all day! We were not given a pot of tea with our afternoon tea, we had to ask for it after waiting at least 15 mins from our food being served. Then there was no milk so we asked for that too. I took my daughter as an extra person and i’d been told by the radisson on email that it would cost £16 to add her on which was fine. On the day they tried to charge me £21.95! The cakes and scones were nice but the service and sandwiches were terrible. Not worth the money and we were very disappointed. I got £6 knocked off my daughters price when I explained we were not happy. Not once during our afternoon tea were we asked if our food was ok. Would not recommend. Poor for the Radisson.

The spa access was truly wonderful with white, fluffy robes to wear. The pool was a good size and there were a few beds/chairs to lounge about on around the pool. The afternoon tea was apparently worth £22 each but if I had paid that just for the afternoon tea I would have complained. It was the smallest afternoon tea I have had with extremely small portions of cake. Overall, for £17.95 is was good value for money with the spa access.
