Second visit this year and much improved. Scones were delicious, warm and soft. Nice selection of sandwiches and good choice of cakes. The surroundings are lovely but I feel they need some sort of background music as you can hear everyone’s conversation, especially when there are only a couple of tables eating. I always seem to cause a problem as I don’t eat strawberry jam ! Took a while but they did find me some raspberry and marmalade !! Overall a nice place for afternoon tea.
A lovely hotel. Very kind staff.
The afternoon tea was very nicely presented in the lounge over looking the West lawns.
Three tires of absolutely scrumptious delights.
We had a wonderful time.
Absolutely brilliant. Lovely food plenty for 2 of us and hubby is a big eater. We ordered beans instead of peas and bread and butter at no extra charge which was a nice touch. We sat in bar area which wasn't a problem as tables nicely furnished. Friendly staff will be coming back thank you 😀
Great value for money very helpful staff
This has been our second visit and we would go again
Lovely Fish and chips. Beautifully presented. Wonderful hotel. Served in the bar/lounge and not the restaurant.
Lovely staff, calm surroundings, lounges were lovely, tea was delicious thank you!
It was a really lovely meal & very friendly staff. I will deferentially doing doing this deal again. Thank you.
Good service, excellent food, very friendly staff, what more could you expect ?
This was a gift for friends and they reported that they loved their tea with you!
Go elsewhere, very poor dining experience, drinks are expensive, warmed up (barely) frozen chips & peas rather then freshly made.
We would not go there again.
