Our afternoon was a table looking out over the sea & bandstand a lovely view. Our Afternoon Tea , Sandwices, Cake & Scones were so fresh & varied our scones were still warm. Part of our deal was with prosecco this was tasty so much so we ordered more & sat enjoying the afternoon chatting & lookin out to sea & watching the swallows flying around the pier Staff were attentive & lovely. Thank you

Nice old seaside hotel , the afternoon tea was pretty basic, Unfortunately the scones had been microwave heated and was like eating cardboard so we had them change to tea cakes instead. The plus point was the service by the staff was very good and( Lindsay) are waitress was always responsive to are needs.

Very very disappointed!! Took friends for an anniversary treat, one small three tier cake stand with a few sandwiches, going dry, few cheep cakes, 4 large cheep scones, obviously been warmed up in microwave, one pot of cream and jam, for 4 people!! Worked out over £10 pounds a head I think is VERY stingy to say the least. Feeling cheated and embarrassed. Definitely will not be going back or recommending.Know now why we only ones there!!

Very disappointed with our afternoon tea. The sandwiches were very basic and tasteless, just cucumber, ham or egg. The scones had been over-heated in a microwave so were hard and inedible. We called over to a member of staff who changed them but the second scones were also over-heated! For each person there were only 3 finger sandwiches, 1 scone, a tiny macaron, a miniature doughnut and a small cupcake. We have purchased several afternoon teas through Groupon and this was by far the poorest! It's only redeeming feature was the actual venue and the way the table was laid, and the pot of tea was very nice.
