Situated above the River Usk, Gliffaes Country House Hotel welcomes travellers to explore the quaint market towns and verdant forests of the Brecon Beacons National Park. This four star hotel also beckons with 33 acres of lush grounds and a mile of river bank suitable for trout and salmon fishing. Overlooking the hotel’s grounds, individually styled rooms decked out in pastel colour schemes, and fitted with king- or queen-sized beds, rich fabrics, traditional wooden furnishings and plush bedding. Using fresh and local produce, the chef prepares hearty plates such as cannon of lamb, soy & chili marinated beef or duo of Guinea fowl, alongside savoury desserts including a selection of homemade ice creams.
