Based in the north west, Extreme Cool Ltd (T/A CHILL FACTORE) is the UK's largest indoor ski slope. It is situated next to the Trafford Centre, 4 miles away from Manchester city centre, and is easily accessible with immediate links from the M60. The slope, which measures 180 metres in length, provides a safe place for budding skiers and snowboarders to work on their techniques alongside the professionals. Skiing and snowboarding lessons are available and all equipment is included in the price. Families can also come and use this slope and experience tubing, an activity in which a person slides down the slope on an inflatable tube. At Extreme Cool Ltd (T/A CHILL FACTORE), adrenaline junkies can partake in the race club sessions that are hosted twice a week. Wannabe skiers and snowboarders can take their preferred method of travel up a notch and train to compete professionally. Although many lessons are available for beginners, developmental lessons are available for intermediate skiers too, allowing them to personalise their ski or boarding style and ride the way they want. Extreme Cool Ltd (T/A CHILL FACTORE) also host the famous core freestyle nights where boarders take to the slopes for a few hours of unrestricted riding. Early bird skiing sessions are available every Wednesday morning from 7:30am, and a multitude of lift passes are available. This slope is open every day and has a cafe on site.
