Lovely pedicure relaxing
Clean salon and friendly technician
Thank you so much
Great experience lovely relaxing massage
The Salon did not have the warm atmosphere one would expect. On arrival, there were two electricians, the older one was very loud having a conversation on the phone about a bill payment. His noise continued even though I brought to his attention I came for quite relaxing time. The manicure was good, although I have enjoyed better.
I booked last weekend as I'm going to a wedding this Saturday. The staff didn't talk to me the whole time, which was uncomfortable. There were 2 staff members and a lady getting her hair done next to me. They were all speaking in their native language the whole time. I kept hearing groupon, if you don't want to do a groupon, don't join groupon! Nails chipped and thumb peeled already, which is sad!
Poorly done and caused bleeding on my left pinkie and right toe from improper removal of cuticles
I would not give any stars if possible. They cancelled my appointment with half an hour notice. With no complete appointments for that day. I was looking forward to my treat, so very disappointed and upsetting.
Thought this was a way of supporting a local business - I was so wrong!!
After buying the Groupon I went to merchant in person to make reservation but they said it had to be booked online via Groupon.
It took a while for the merchant to make appointments available via Groupon online booking - that took several days and emails via Groupon.
Appointments were only available on Sundays.
Eventually I was able to book.
They cancelled on the day I was booked for (8.29am phone call) lucky I wasn’t relying on them for a special occasion!!!
I re booked via txt.
Got this auto ‘how did we do’ email- (which I ignored as I hadn’t had the service yet)
I went to the appt today and then they said the voucher was marked redeemed so they could not honor the booking. They don’t know how the voucher was marked redeemed, but didn’t offer to resolve it via Groupon. (I spoke to the manager by phone -she said she couldn’t do the treatment as she would not get paid by Groupon if she couldn’t provide the voucher…..I wonder if they have already been paid out by Groupon when the voucher was automatically marked redeemed due to me booking via the Groupon site??)
When I went to the salon today the girl in there seemed totally unaware I had an appointment.
The place seems empty most of the time.
The whole thing has wasted a LOT of my time and I’ve requested a refund via Groupon.
It’s my first bad experience on Groupon :(
I can’t remember when I have had such poor service.
Having looked at google reviews I probably had a lucky escape as the recent manicure reviews are not great!!!
Today, I purchased a voucher via Groupon for a manicure and pedicure with gel. I called the number on the voucher to confirm my booking, and they confirmed my appointment for today.
When I arrived, the receptionist asked if I could come tomorrow instead. I explained that my appointment had been confirmed over the phone. She then called the manager, and after a discussion, she finally agreed to proceed with my appointment today.
When she checked my nails, she mentioned there would be an extra £10 charge for gel removal, which I had no issue with. However, when I was shown the nail polish options, there was only one small ring with about 15 colours—very limited! I wanted a natural shade, but they didn’t have one, so I had to pick the closest available option. She started with pedicure which on the voucher was stated gel pedicure-I only had normal nail polish applied on)-that was about 1 hour 20 mins
After 1 hour and 45 minutes (including taking off the gel I already had on my nails which they asked me to pay extra and I agreed with no problem) , the manager called and asked the nail technician to pass me on the phone (who was the receptionist as well) and said my appointment was only for 1 hour! The nail technician was using only a manual nail file—no electric tools at all. How can a gel manicure and pedicure be done in just one hour, including the gel removal, for which they charged an extra fee?
When I questioned this, the manager told me that if I wasn’t happy, I could leave because my appointment was supposed to be for one hour only. I have never in my life (and I’m in my 50s) had a manicure and pedicure rushed into one hour! The lack of proper tools and the terrible customer service made this an awful experience.
I left with half of the gel still on my nails and a very bitter taste about the so-called "luxury" service I received. Absolutely disgusting.
Please check the other people experience with this salon lately on google reviews, especially the customer service they had from the owner of salon, just awful.
Avoid this place at all costs! 🚨
