Boasting a High Street location and large, Indian-inspired paintings on the walls, this eatery strives to bring authentic tastes from the Indian subcontinent to Glasgow. Dishes on the menu range from a selection of pakoras and chicken rolls to kormas, masalas and chillies, while a well-stocked bar serves an array of wines. Obsession Of India also offers takeaway and delivery options.
Both my husband and myself reckoned the lunch we had in the Obsession of India was the best curry we had experienced in several years. I had a chicken bhuna which was so full of flavour, detecting the fresh spices and herbs throughout the sauce with absolutely no trace of oil or grease in it and my husband had a similar experience with his prawn karachi. Not only was the food fabulous but also the the restaurant had a nice ambience which was contributed by the very friendly staff. Overall I would recommend this restaurant with top marks and I am looking forward to my next visit there. Keep up the good work,
Delicious lunch on a groupon voucher. Chicken pakora was light and tasty- plenty for 2 to share as a starter. We had a main course of behind lamb and lamb madras with rice and naan, the curries were flavoursome and naan was light and fluffy.
The venue is nothing fancy but food is good and staff warm and welcoming .
