From Our Editors

First established in Soho in 1926, Patisserie Valerie follows artisanal baking traditions brought to London by Belgian-born Madam Valerie, whose mission was to introduce continental patisserie to the English. Now boasting over 120 venues nationwide, the company adorns its cafes with the 1950s-inspired decor and serves up an array of freshly-made cakes, craft pastries, breakfasts, lunches, coffees and loose-leaf teas. Their specialities include meticulously-crafted croissants and viennoiseries, as well as homemade Italian-style gelato.

Long waits, basic afternoon tea, bread stale/hard obvs been sitting out for a while, run out of basics like jam and cream, voucher couldn't be redeemed against what I'd paid for (no fizz as advertised, no licence, why advertise that?). wouldn't return!

Enjoyed coffee, sandwiches and scones but a little disappointed with the cakes (eclairs with no cream filling). Good service.

Every presented so beautifully and tasted so delicious. You knew in your first bite that they all baked fresh . The guy he served us was so welcoming and very patient with us as I had some friends who demanded specific tea , asked for different table and etc ! But he responded all with smile in very professional manner . I definitely recommend west Nile street branch that is a place we went .
