Housed on the first floor of Glasgow’s iconic McCormick Printers building, The Chippy Doon The Lane restaurant aims to offer a fresh and up-market twist on the traditional fish and chips meal. The eatery serves different kinds of fish, ranging from cod and haddock to the more contemporary monkfish tail and coley. The Chippy has two dining rooms that can be hired for private celebrations and accommodate up to 30 guests.
Great value for money, good food & service.
Very pleasant atmosphere not what one would normally find in the average chipper.
Very good fish and chips, there should bo more like them around town.
do not buy this deal, this used to be a great place to eat but since being under new management terrible service. when making the booking I explained it was a treat for my mum, dad and aunt & uncle who are visiting from Australia and that my dad & aunt down like fish the girl told me to buy a member another voucher as they could have burger or pasta etc. when they went to the restaurant they were treated terribly from being told there was only a table for two booked to they couldn't use the voucher for burgers. My mum had already given them the vouchers so they will get paid for both but only one was used. I am so embarrassed as they paid for 2 meals and it was supposed to be a free day out for them.
