A painting day at Vine and Canvas is a real treat. Heather is so laid-back, no-one would guess how much work goes into preparing for a class. Her teaching style soon dispels any anxiety the participants might have been feeling - a glass or two of wine helps, of course. Heather demonstrates the painting process step by step and the class follows along - her maxim is that there is no such thing as "wrong" and each person will simply produce a different and very personal version of the original on the screen. The time just flies past, with Heather demonstrating and encouraging every step of the way - the whole experience was fun and light-hearted, everyone had a finished painting to take home, and I would highly recommend a painting day to anyone needing a de-stress, as well as to anyone thinking they might like a taster session for an absorbing new hobby.
