About The Bird and Deer Park
Established in 1974, The Bird and Deer Park has brought nature-themed family fun to the heart of rural Gloucestershire for over 40 years. The varying follies of the park contain a wealth of attractions, including a double aviary housing kookaburras and lovebirds, a wendy house by the lake, and a castle to rest weary legs. As they wander around, guests can snap the free-roaming fallow deer, pheasants, fowls, and peacocks, and delight in the large collection of carp, golden orfe and green tench in the main lake. The animals will be in action during the daily feeding times, and if visitors stick around for long enough they might be able to catch a glimpse of the 18 species of bat which nest in the grounds.
