Really lovely village pub. Excellent food,very friendly staff. The accommodation is lovely,clean and has everything you need for a couple of nights stay. Plenty of parking and a good location to see other parts of Yorkshire such as york,Selby and Beverly.

A nice friendly pub , which serves delicious food, and a nice pint of Unicorn beer, staff and landlords very nice who look after the beer also chef. Also plenty parking.

Service is very good and the food is to die for especially Tuesday/Wednesday when special nights are on

The pub is of beautiful old world the staff are very friendly and helpful, the accommodation is basic but very comfortable and clean you have facilities to make a hot drink , we have stayed a couple of times before hence that’s why we returned again breakfast is lovely with plenty of choice , the only disappointment was the steak we had on the Monday night it was bland mine was not cooked how I asked for so it was returned the one they replaced it with was cooked to my liking but still bland it was disappointing as it was our 52nd wedding anniversary so it took the shine of the night

From arriving at the venue, we were given a very warm welcome. The service was excellent and the Staff were beyond helpful, nothing was a trouble to them. The venue is in a village and within walking distance of a beautiful area. The accommodation was immaculate and the food was fabulous.

Enjoyed our 3 night stay in one of the chalets. Nice room with a comfy bed. Good breakfast each morning and dinner each evening, especially the pie night! Staff super friendly and helpful, especially Christine. Would certainly book again.
