Nestled in the harbour on Loch Fyne, The Anchor Hotel Tarbert overlooks a natural harbour used by the local fishing fleet. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the dramatic local scenery and take in some of the wildlife, either on foot with the likes of the Kintyre Trail, or on the water, with the Tarbert ferry terminal located around a ten-minute walk away. The remains of Tarbert Castle, originally dating back to the 13th century and once associated with Robert the Bruce, lies just outside the village. The venue features a selection of rooms, each complete with Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, en suite shower room and hospitality trays. The on-site Seabed Restaurant offers a host of dishes on a seasonal menu, with the seafood menu regularly changing to incorporate fresh catches. Various malts from the surrounding areas can be sampled in the hotel’s Loch Fyne Bar, while a function suite is also available for events such as weddings.
