First opened in 1814, the inn was refurbished in 2008, with modern furnishings and fixtures complimenting traditional features, such as the restaurant and bar’s open fireplace. The inn’s main building features 25 rooms, each with shower, double bed and wall-mounted flat TV, with executive rooms also available, complete with views towards Ben Lomond. More private accommodation is on hand thanks to eight individually designed bedrooms located away from the main building in the Beach House, overlooking the loch and jetty. Mr. C’s bar and restaurant aims to celebrate Scotland’s renowned fish and whisky, with the emphasis firmly on a selection of seafood dishes and various tipples, while real ales, grilled dishes and more are also offered either to eat in or take away.
We got a really warm welcome from the staff, great service and the view from our room onto Loch Lomond was immense
The lovely view of the Loch.
The Beach house is great.
the view from our room was lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and the bed comfortable. food was very nice , all set in a lovely location.
Bought for my son and his wife they loved everything about it from room to food and staff they had an amazing few days stay and would come back said it was worth every penny😎
There are far nicer and better value stays in the Area, we thought this was a bargain but it ended up being an expensive and poor experience. The surrounding countryside is however absolutely beautiful.
Nice room with a great view across the loch.
