From Our Editors

The George in Rye sits pretty amid the bustling town of Rye; a popular tourist destination due to its seaside location, where it is almost entirely surrounded by water. Tea rooms and restaurants are aplenty, along with Rye harbour which plays host to a fleet of yachts and other vessels. The 16th century hotel features an original Georgian ballroom which lends itself to lavish events and weddings, as well as romantic weekends away. Bedrooms and suites are individually decorated with their own colour schemes and bespoke furniture. They all feature marble-topped baths, chrome power showers and LCD TVs. The restaurant menu is populated by Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. Freshly-caught seafood heavily features among the dishes which changes with the seasons.

The room was beautifully decorated. The bath in the room was amazing! It is so easy to visit the rest of Rye from here. The staff are so lovely. Couldn't fault it!
