From Our Editors

Excavated to provide a meeting place for the club of an 18th-Century aristocrat, West Wycombe’s Hell-Fire Caves are now a site of historical fascination and a purported haunt for paranormal revellers. Over half a mile of winding underground passages links subterranean chambers that are entered through the eerie façade of a mock-Gothic church. The attraction hosts events to keep little ones entertained, such as a school of witchcraft and children's parties. Brave adults can tag along on a paranormal investigation using a variety of equipment to detect supernatural phenomena deep inside the caves.

Enjoyed it but could have had a fun pack for kids to go round with. Food was very good.

A lovely and quirky place to visit. Fascinating to see how the other half lived in the 1700's.

Nice and affordable attraction for families. Recommend to combine with other sightseeing activities as the caves take approximately 45 minutes to explore.

Great fun for kids. As well as the caves you can explore the mausoleum and climb up the church tower right at the top of the hill. Bring a picnic

Would only buy this if half price as not really worth £7.50 each. I made a YouTube horror video about the experience. Search 'The Blair Caves Project' on YouTube!

Very good afternoon out, something all the family could do, but not suitable for children in pushchairs.
