About Down at the Farm

Down at the Farm is a small family-run farm providing countryside education and fun activities to visitors of all ages. Apart from different types of farm animals, such as sheep, cattle, donkeys, and pigs, there are also non-native species like reindeer, snowy owls, alpacas, meerkats, and raccoons. Visitors can get up close to many of the inhabitants during a range of handling experiences available. The farm also offers adventure activies such as tractor or barrel train rides, inflatable slides, an oversized hamster run for humans, and a playground. The site regularly plays host to a varied programme of seasonal events, as well as hands-on activities during the summer holidays.
