Heacham Manor is a grade II Elizabethan retreat, sympathetically refurbished to retain its traditional charm, and featuring landscaped gardens and views to its own golf course. The purple fields of Norfolk Lavender can be reached in a ten-minute countryside cycle, or the famous Royal Sandringham Estate is nearby with its revered gardens and architecture. Spacious, airy and super-contemporary rooms are decked in earthy and autumnal colours, and deluxe options are available with grand four-poster beds. The standard rooms are located in the traditional barn conversions next to the manor house. The Mulberry Restaurant boasts an AA rosette for its varied and rustic menu, using locally-sourced meats, fish and vegetables where possible. On the 18-hole golf course, greens offer views to sweeping rural landscapes and the blustery North Sea, and guests can practice on the putting greens and driving range. Around a five minute drive will bring guests to Hunstanton, where they can enjoy complimentary access to the hotel's sister holiday resort's pool, sauna and hot tub. The town's sandy beach and promenade also lend themselves to blustery strolls.
