Boat ride & 3 course meal, something different and well worth the money.

Brought for my mums 60th birthday (3 course for 2) thought it would be something quirky and different. We were a little late due to struggling to find it due to sat nav, when we arrived our starters were waiting for us (prawn cocktail just prawns and sauce no salad) and soup. The bread had gone stale and prawns were warm as they had been left in a warm boat. We were told they were just finishing our fish and chips and we’d set off (we were eating our starters at this point). The fish was horrible, chips were horrible, mushy peas were horrible looked nothing like on the website. To top it off yo say it had just been cooked it was cold! The cakes were ok (shop brought) Only upside was the little ride on the boat. Must say very disappointed after reading the reviews was expecting something better! Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t purchase again! Even though we were late the food should still not have been put out before we arrived! Took us 1hr 30 mins to get there and hugely dissapo

We have been on the Moonraker boat trips 3 times for different things, fish n chips, cream & afternoon tea. Each time the staff have been very accommodating and the food lovely. Thank you

We went on the Oliver at The moonraker tearoom. It was adorable. It was perfect during Covid because it was just me and my mum for our birthdays so we didn't have to worry about catching anything. The lady was really wonderful catering for my mum who is lactose intolerant. The boat trip was so relaxing and lovely I only wish it lasted longer. Definitely will have this experience again even if just for myself to have a cup of tea and boat ride :) Definitely value for money, we had so much food as well.

Wasn't quite what I expected. We were shown on to a small boat (Oliver's boat) and our afternoon tea was brought to us. It wasn't like the ones I have seen on photos but the scones were nice. The boat took us on a 30 minute trip whilst we ate it. This is a quirky experience which could be improved by making the boat more appealing

We so enjoyed our little trip up the canal and back. The afternoon tea was enough to feed a family despite there only being two of us. Well worth the money.
