The Grade II-listed building, originally built to house a dock pumping engine, hosts one of the shining stars of Wales culinary scene. Sosban, under the direction of executive chef Andrew Sheridan, has been awarded a place in the Michelin Guide 2018 and two AA Rosettes for its hospitality and original flavours. The building itself retains exposed brickwork and oak-beamed ceilings, contrasting the sophistication of the food with the simplicity of the decor. The large menu, prepared by the BBC Young Chef of the Year semi-finalist who also competed on the Great British Menu in 2018, offers the patrons modern and intriguing dishes, like hay-baked celeriac. Sweet and savoury accompaniments abound, alongside a rich wine list, ready to be added to the meal chosen. For those undecided, the restaurant prepared a six- and nine-course tasting menus, available in standard and vegetarian options.

Beautiful venue, friendly knowledgeable staff, food outstanding.
Well done chefs.
Hi, having visited Sosban for the fourth time, I can wait for the fifth ! Decided to go for lunch on Saturday 22nd December to start Christmas off. We went for the tasting menu with one of them being the vegetarian option. The food was stunning as all ways. The vegetarian option was not just some dishes to satisfy those who want it. Every dish was full of flavour and well balanced, I might even go for this option next time ! As it was Christmas we decided to finish with the cheese board. Some times I feel its only there to take money off you. Well not here, it was fantastic. Every cheese had an accompaniment and different type of biscuit, bread or toast, wow ! The service was informative and non intrusive, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Andrew and all the team for a wonderful experience, again. Clive
We bought the voucher for lunch time but were able to pay an extra £10 pp to change to evening and the taster menu was to die for. We also had the wine pairing with 20% off through booking from Groupon and the conesseur was very know
