Dishes may range from chaats, chargrilled and pan-fried curries to spicy tandooris and tawa bites. Meals are complemented by Indian and European desserts, alongside a drinks menu with wine and Prosecco. The restaurant won Best Newcomer Restaurant in Central London & City at the British Curry Awards.
The staff were friendly and the venue was pleasant. However, the portions were small and the food was luke warm.
No where near as nice as when it used to be in Notting hill. The decor and ambience was substandard. I had a sea food dish which did not contain fresh sea food instead it was defrosted shrimp and it was cold not piping hot. We couldn't finish our food so asked if we could take it. We were told that we could take what we couldn't eat because we bought it via Groupon. So it went in the bin rather t
This restaurant is fantastic. I purchased a Groupon voucher for lunch on Saturday 10th March for four of us. They telephoned prior to visiting and advised me that they decided to close for lunch and we would be welcome in the evening. Sadly, as we all came from different parts of the country and were returning early evening, this wasn't possible so they opened especially for us. What an amazing meal we had and the service, of course, was absolutely brilliant. Our food was delicious and beautifully presented, couldn't fault them. My Avocado Puchka starter was simply divine. Can't recommend them enough. Thank you all so much.
Beautifully presented food, big flavours and a lovely restaurant, located just off Kensington High Street.
Appreciate groupon is not for takeaway neither I intended it, but there was left over which I requested for take home but waiter was happy to bin it rather allowing take home citing groupon voucher
Delicious food in lovely setting
Really nice little restaurant with delicious food and great staff and ambience.
Food is okay but definitely not Michelin star.
Excellent food. Loved it.
The main course was cold and tasteless, as if we had been served leftovers. The starter was inedible and the portions were minimal. We had a draught blowing through the door and had to get up three times to close it. The waitress took no interest in us whatsoever. I would never go back to Chakra.
