From Our Editors

Nestled in the heart of Hammersmith, the family-run El Toro brings meaty Argentinian dining to the capital. Chefs with combined experience of over 20 years use Aberdeen Angus beef straight from the Argentinian Pampas in their chunky cuisine, and also serve up pizza, pasta, and fish dishes for guests. The interior of the eatery aims for simple elegance with its wooden flooring and furniture, and the venue is able to host parties and events.

The groupon voucher was great value. Drinks seemed very expensive. £5 for a pint of Diet Coke but steak was great which is why we went

Overpriced drinks and service charge. Ended up in an argument. Avoid like the plague!

You can choose from most of the starters and all the steaks with this voucher, as well as other dishes like burgers, but no chef specials. The steaks were very good but the starters were average. Drinks are quite expensive (£8 for a large glass of wine) and a £5 service charge is added at the end of the bill.

It took some time to confirm it was ok to use the Groupon offer and they didn't ask us if we wanted drinks in the meantime. The steak was very good, the rest of the food salad, chips and veg was very bland the acoustics are bad so it was very difficult to hear and for some reason the clientele were predominantly male, I wouldn't go back personally.

Meal is value for money. Drinks are outrageously expensive and surprisingly they add the service charge to the bill too. Taking in to consideration all that literary the entire cost is rather average. Mohan Munasinghe - Barrister at Law

You pay for what you get. The steak isn't great and actually doesn't have much to do with the steak It looks like it was boiled and grilled or something similar. Would not go there again.
