About Huffkins at John Lewis & Partners
Huffkins is an award-winning British bakery and cafe tea rooms, owned and grown by the Taee family since 1999. The family - Richard, Topsy, Joshua, Jacob, Lilly & Faith - are all longtime local Cotswold residents. The company is run for the long-term good, with strong family values.
Since it was established in c.1890 in the Cotswolds town of Burford, Huffkins has been an independent, family-owned company. Our founder, Mr Titcomb baked in a tiny Cotswold stone cottage, delivering freshly-baked goods from a wood fired oven by donkey & cart.
Our state-of-the-art bakery was built in the Spring of 2021, featuring the highest grade equipment. But our most important tool is our hands. Fully-trained craft bakers hand make and bake in small batches, using time-honoured family recipes. Ingredients are sourced locally in the Cotswolds for the highest quality and authenticity.
