Masseuse did listen at all. I paid extra £10 to upgrade from ‘back, neck and shoulder’ to ‘deep tissue’ massage and had explained to the masseuse where I wanted him to focus.
I explained I am experienced with massages and would like very deep and high pressure massages, which I also explained when I booked to ensure I had a masseuse whi could deliver.
Despite agreeing every time I requested deep pressure he verbally agreed but then didn’t apply more pressure, tried to emphasise the whole reason I was there but he simply didn’t comply.
I was tempted to stop the massage, walk out and demand a full refund several times. I was very specific about my request prior to booking (which they agreed and accepted) and during the massage (which they agreed and accepted) but they whilst they verbally agreed, they did NOT deliver.
The way I see it they had two choices: agree as. Deliver what I requested, or to refuse and. not waste anyone’s time or money.
Also of note: multiple sessions are only separated by a thin curtain and I had to walk through a therapy session (no privacy) to leave.
I would not recommend.
The massage bed was very uncomfortable, I ended up with a very bad head ach after the massage. My massage was done by a girl doing an apprenticeship who only had 3 months experience, being a salon owner in the past I did recognise a lot of mistakes in the massage. But the girl girl was nice & polite. They offer you some sort of tissue to cover your necessary parts not even towels
Wouldn’t go back there again.
It was a nice massage, however the surroundings weren’t peaceful and relaxing. Noisy printers were being used, telephones were ringing while my massage was being done. The point of the massage was to get away from the noise and relax.
I was disappointed with the way NJ Beauty Academy organised the message for me and my wife. We were both looking forward to a relaxing 60 minute full body massage but felt let down. The area where we had our massage was actually the reception, with four massage couches, divided by curtain. Consequently, during the massage we could hear other people coming and going, paying for their services and discussing various products loudly! There was no ambiance. There were also no towels, we were given paper sheets to cover ourselves. All in all, one to put down to an experience.
Very nice for an academy, professional
Worse massage I’ve ever had. It was not relaxing, it was not enjoyable. Do not waste your money. I was massaged by a middle aged Indian man whose hands were going too high up or too low down. Many times I had to tell him that how far he was going was inappropriate. The receptionist tried to give me a seethrough paper towel to cover myself, I refused and said I would need a towel especially if I was being massaged by a man.
They do two massages at the same time and there is only a curtain divide so you can hear everything going on next door. It was horrible, I spent the whole 60 mins feeling uncomfortable and wishing it would end.
Upon entry the place was not what I expected and not what the pictures look like on their website. I heard management talking about if people pay a little bit use cheap products and if they pay more you can use something a little better, they then went on to ask me to pay £10 extra for a deep tissue massage.
I still had hope for the massage room until I was taken in to a room with a curtain in the middle And a customer already in there getting a massage that I had to walk past to get to my “section”. There were no use of towels and a paper thin tissue like roll was used. The massage was ok but not a deep tissue massage that I paid extra for.
Don’t waste your money or time!
Masseuse was very nice, but the room was quite hot and I could hear the man having his waxing done next to me! The massage was ok - pressure was good but excessive amounts of oil was being used compared to other massages I had previously. Also it’s not always easy to get through on the telephone and the receptionist seems very eager to hang up ASAP.
Lovely person brazilian girl....and very relaxing masaj
Great massage BUT didn't realise I had to pay £10 extra on the day to have Deep Tissue Massage
