Surrounded by a leafy park, The Lansbury Hotel is hosted in a 17th-century building with a doomed octagonal tower. Easily reached by tube, with Poplar station just a few steps away, the hotel is located within walking distance of many attractions, such as the Tower of London. Preserving the classical elegance of times past, rooms sport plush tufted headboards and other traditionally-styled furniture and hanging chandeliers. More modern amenities available to guests include Wi-Fi service, flat-screen TVs and minibars. This four-star hotel also boasts a gym, steam room and sauna, as well as spa treatment rooms. The on-site restaurant serves a variety of international dishes and a complimentary breakfast buffet.

It is a really great place. The Afternoon tea was great. The restaurant which is in the basement is very peaceful and calming. The host Aigers was fantastic, a really friendly guy with great service. Plan to go again.

The Sandwiches were uninspiring and just looked like a normal sliced loaf with the crusts cut off, Not what I would expect from Champagne experience at a top London hotel

We were visiting London and didn’t have a time to visit but they fitted us in and we went into the outside space and it was so lovely xthe young lady who served us was so kind and lovely even though the outside space meant a lot of stairs extra for her which I Mentioned and she said it as fine x great time x

food was nice, generous portions and unlimited hot drinks. waitress was so sweet and helpful. overall very pretty and lovely atmosphere. only issue was that a lot of the items on the menu that we requested weren’t available but plenty of substitutes were suggested.

Very nice hotel & very friendly staff but the afternoon tea itself was just average. I wouldn't go back for that reason.
