Surrounded by a leafy park, The Lansbury Hotel is hosted in a 17th-century building with a doomed octagonal tower. Easily reached by tube, with Poplar station just a few steps away, the hotel is located within walking distance of many attractions, such as the Tower of London. Preserving the classical elegance of times past, rooms sport plush tufted headboards and other traditionally-styled furniture and hanging chandeliers. More modern amenities available to guests include Wi-Fi service, flat-screen TVs and minibars. This four-star hotel also boasts a gym, steam room and sauna, as well as spa treatment rooms. The on-site restaurant serves a variety of international dishes and a complimentary breakfast buffet.
Freshly prepared food and very attentive serve. Good quality food with variety
Extremely rude member off staff
With the exception of the scones the food was cheap and nas
This was THE best afternoon tea Iv had. The staff were amazing, really polite, coming over and making sure we were ok and if we needed more tea/coffee, which they kept topping up. Even the chef came out and apologised for the wait and explained it was because it was all made fresh. The wait wasn't even long. Hotel is really clean and full of history and decorated really lovely. Looks brand new inside. Cannot fault a thing. Food was really really nice and plenty of it.

Delicious food and fab service! Great deal!!
The afternoon tea was not exactly what I expected. The sandwiches were good, desserts not so! Don’t think I will be returning unfortunately. My friends made the atmosphere great.
The food wasn’t as expected and it took too long to arrive.
