Amazing pub with a great selection of drinks and quality food. To get this deal is an absolute bargain.

Very friendly pub enjoyed our meal

Enjoyed pizza and sides and a drink very much. If we hadn't had the Groupon voucher would never have stumbled upon this locals pub. We took some pizza and cheesy chips back home and it became lunch the next day. Husband also splashed out and bought a cocktail at £8. We were only in the area for a week so didn't get a chance to return. Staff were friendly.

This could have been a gem of a find, however, only one member of bar staff, the chef was on holiday which meant the manager was cooking the pizzas, and the fryer had broken which meant no sides were available, for which we were offered either an extra drink each or an extra pizza. Add to this a 2 hour wait for our pizzas to arrive, for which we were offered another extra drink. Unfortunately, when they did arrive they were average as not much topping which may have been because the manager rather than the chef was preparing them. If staff and equipment were not available we could have been told in advance and we would have re-booked for another date. All this means that although the staff were very apologetic and doing their best in the circumstances, we will not be returning.
