The room was shabby with old broken furniture. The pool was cloudy and was full of hair!. The food in the restaurant was bland and small portions. I asked for a bottle of red wine from the menu and received white wine. When I queried this the waiter did not apologise. He brought back the right bottle of wine but just slammed it down and didn't open it. I would never stay in this hotel again.

Both accommodation and evening meal provided were tailored to suit the price. I. E. There was no bargain. Room was disgraceful, very small and dark with door to bathroom broken. Evening meal was limited choice, very small portions and very poor quality. Hotel in some areas needs total refurbishment. Would not even recommend a 2 star. Very disappointing stay. Won't be back.

Spa area is dirty, particularly in the steam room, floor filter full of scum. Stairs leading to pool dirty. No where to hang towels whilst in Spa. Jacuzzi and pool cloudy. No member of staff in Spa area when unaccompanied children are there.Real concerns regarding Health & Safety issues. When I raised them with reception the response was we don't have the staff, not a reason in my book. Rooms very dated and old fashioned, need upgrading. Dinner adequate, buffet breakfast better. A group of 57 children aged between 11-14 with teachers booked in on our second night. The noise and banging of bedroom doors went on till midnight. I got dressed and told both reception and teachers to address this as did other guests. It appears that the hotel had booked rooms for the group all over the hotel instead of confiding them to one area so the teachers could police and control the children. Overall a disappointing stay, would I go again, NO.

They need to get a maintenance programme sorted, i.e. Carpets & windows cleaned, especially in stairs & hallways. Going down steps to pool was a disgrace. Needs painting inside & out & rooms upgraded. Clean & sweep carpark. First impressions count. Staff shortage.

The staff were rude and made us feel like we should not have been there, it took ages for us to be nominated a table for meals and we were treated differently. people around us were notified how breakfast worked and we were just ushered to a table and had to figure out what was happening. the receptionist on the first night was really rude and belittling. Worst experience ever, facilities are old and need to be modernised. shower was leaking. rubbish customer service.

Really needs update. Dinner was the worst meal that we have had. Choice not good I got the fish over cooked. The young waitress was very good at both dinner and breakfast. I only gave two stars and not one was because the hotel was clean and the view that we paid extra for was lovely. There are lots of really good hotel in the area and will not cost you much more than we paid on Groupon. Will go back to the area but not this hotel.
