Food was absolutely disgusting. Main dishes do not come with any accompaniments so had to pay extra for choice of chips, rice or salad. Burger so dry could not swallow it and my husband had an upset stomach after having the steak pie. Should have guessed as only two other diners came into the restaurant just before we left.

The afternoon tea was not as advertised was cheap sweet wine not prosseco and the selection of cakes was a muffin half cooked and slice of carrot cake that could tell was frozen not fresh cakes. Sandwiches were nice and scones.

Certainly not worth £8. Not Prosecco and no choice of tea.

Lovely scones and cake. Teabag in a pot instead of loose leaf which was a shame. Friendly staff but didn't ask if wanted more tea, had to go to bar and ask. Conservatory very hot, broken air con, windows couldn't be opened on hottest day of year. Food nice, but venue a let down as air con needs fixing.

Afternoon tea was outrageous. I took my Nans, mum, cousin and aunties to afternoon tea as a treat. We were all very excited! Considering for 8 people, it should have been £200, I wouldn't even pay £10 for the whole thing. We each recieved: • 4 tiny bits of 'sandwiches', • 1 scone • 1 cupcake • 1 piece of cake • 1 glass of 'sparkling perry' • unlimited tea/coffee Apparently, that is worth £25 each. Very unimpressed. Wouldn't recommend to someone I hate.

Lovely setting. Friendly helpful staff. Gorgeous food though a bit too much so don't eat before you go.
