Wooden floors and white walls adorn Lal Qila Deansgate, a modern restaurant serving South Asian cuisine. Based in the heart of the Manchester, it sits right next to Manchester Central Convention Complex and can seat over 150 guests. The name Lal Qila means Red Fort and is represented by the low red-tinted lightning in the venue, as well as decorative accents on tables, creating a unique ambience in the dining room. The menu has been carefully curated by the management and includes traditional dishes such as Nihari and Haleem, as well as modern takes on the classic favourites. It is full of wholesome sauces and flavourful spices, leading patrons on a culinary journey across India.
The food is good and the place is nice, as are the staff, but the service seems very unorganized and I had to ask twice whenever I wanted something.
