About Brimstage Distillery - Wirral Gin School

Sat opposite Arrow Country Park, Wirral Gin School brings the tradition of spirit making into the contemporary present. An experienced head distiller leads classes that teach everyone interested about how gin is created, what machinery is used and what are preferred and classic botanicals. Students can keep to one of the recipes available or experiment with their own flavourings, just to end up with a 70cl bottle of their own making. The school promotes other local distilleries with tasting sessions and keeps a variety of gins and rums on sale in their shop. Gin-aficionados can also find a collection of recipes published on the school's website, for everyone to access.
